Our story
Honest, Family-Run Auto Repair in San Bernardino
For years, Felix Automotive has been the shop San Bernardino drivers turn to when something's wrong with their car — no appointment required, even on our busiest days.
Since Ismael Sr. and his son Ismael Jr. took over, we've kept the same hands-on approach: honest diagnostics, fair pricing, and repairs explained in plain language before we start any work. Whether it's a coolant leak, a full engine rebuild, or routine service, we walk every customer through exactly what we found and why it matters.
We keep you in the loop the whole time — with calls, texts, and even photos or video of the work in progress — so you always know what's happening with your car.
- Family-owned by Ismael Sr. & Jr.
- Walk-ins welcome, no appointment needed

What customers say
“This shop is wonderful!! Ismael and the rest of the crew truly care about their costumers. I just recently moved here and needed help with my car. With no appointment I showed up, mid day. They were extremely busy, but they still worked on my car. They made me feel like a family member. They were honest and upfront about time and pricing. They did an excellent job on my car.”
“I have been using Felix Automotive to fix my cars since it was put under new ownership a few years ago and I haven't looked back. The new owners, Ismael Sr. and his son Jr. always provide personal service, quality workmanship and great prices. These guys installed a newly rebuilt 5.4L Triton engine in my 2003 Ford Expedition and it has run like a champ ever since!!”
“He went above and beyond—not only diagnosing and fixing the leak but also addressing other necessary repairs along the way to ensure my car was in top shape. Upon pickup, he meticulously walked me through the work he completed, explaining why each fix was necessary. What really stood out was the level of communication - before, during, and after everything was all said and done. Overall, this was a five-star experience. HIGHLY recommend!!!!!”
